I got the same error: “Maximum number of body parts (250) per message exceeded”.
Looking at the message, I understood the error. The size of the email wasn't very large, but there were a lot of exchanges and each time with a signature (not very useful and unpleasant to read :)).
I suggested to the user to stop adding a signature when replying.
