FAQ: Registering for IP Co-Sell after transacting through Azure Marketplace

Q: When a partner transacts through Azure Marketplace, do they need to register for IP Co-Sell as well?

 

A: If it is a SaaS offering, IP Co-Sell registration is needed for PRACR reporting. If the solution is running on customer's Azure environment, there is no PRACR reporting need, unless there is a portion of the solution running on partners Azure tenant (like Citrix management console).
