FAQ: Public offer showing up despite not being enabled

Q: I am a marketplace publisher that has an offer with only one public plan, and that plan is NOT enabled for the US Market.  Yet when I go to Marketplace, the offer shows up (albeit with the plan saying "this is not available for purchase in your market...")  I had thought if there was no public plan in your market, the offer would not show up for you AT ALL.  Did that change?

 

A: The offer once published will show up in all geos. Just the plan will be restricted to the chosen geo. The Country of the Billing Address determines the geo that a subscription belongs to. This is what allows purchasing of a product aimed at a specific region.
