Updated Class Recording Policy

Hello Learning Partners,

In the last two Community Calls (Dec, Jan) I've presented the new class recording policy. While it'll soon be included in our refreshed Learning Partner program guidelines, I want to provide you the specifics now so that you can plan for future engagements:

Training Session Recording and Distribution. Learning partners may provide individuals with recordings of instructor-led training sessions leveraging official courseware as post-course supplemental material, given:

1. the individual receiving the recording registered for and attended the original live training session in which the recording was created.
2. all individuals on the recording are made aware that their participation may be recorded and shared with individuals from the specific course they are attending.
3. the Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) delivering the training session has been notified of and agreed to be recorded prior to the training session.
4. access to the recording requires identify verification (i.e. student sign-in) and will only be made available to the learner for up to 90 after the last day of the course.

Learning partners may not record training sessions with the intent of marketing or commercially distributing broadly to individuals not associated with the original training session. Learning partners who do not properly secure access to post-course recordings may be prevented from providing further recorded courses.
