XLS:CVE-2012-0185
Good day,
I'm new to this group and I tried to know if anyone can help me manage this virus that always detected by my Avast Security but not bby other virus scanner.
Anyone know the extent of its hazard to my computer and how can I manage the file infected by it.
The excel file infected is a company biometric scanner report so the file is very important to our payroll system.
Would appreciate your kind assistance on this.
What to do now
Use the following free Microsoft software to detect and remove this threat:
Windows Defender for Windows 10 and Windows 8, or Microsoft Security Essentials for Windows 7 and Windows Vista
You should also run a full scan. A full scan might find other hidden malware.
Update software
After you've removed this threat from your PC, you should update your software to protect yourself from other exploits.
