Why date format is showing wrongly.
Please refer this picture.
In This picture the Format is first month / date / Year
After this is showing the Date format is date/month/Year.
Most probably data is taken from csv file. Excel automatically converted texts, which it recognized as dates for your locale, into dates and the rest keeps as texts.
If that is csv better not to open it by Excel, but insert into empty workbook.
