The excel autosave function is not working properly. I had an excel book that I had been preparing for days. I had the autosave mode ON, so I did not worry about manually saving right, thinking of course that it would autosave. So I was working on it today and my computer shut down because of a battery shortage. So I plug it in, turn it on again and my excel book was not the same. It keeps loading a version from 3 days ago, but all the modifications I made after that point were gone. I've tried checking the version history, but according to it, there were no versions from those days. I've also checked the OneDrive Recycle Bin, nothing either. I've come here after consulting with the technical support them to seek some help. Is my work lost forever? Please help

I believe there are a few things you could check to see if the workbook is recoverable.
If you are using excel application:
Firstly, you could open Excel, go to File > Open, and click Recover Unsaved Workbooks which should be near the bottom of the screen.
If this does not work then you could try searching the below path on your computer:
C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\UnsavedFiles
You would be looking for any temporary files in this location.
I think once you closed Excel or shutdown the computer normally then these temporary files would be forgotten.
If you are using Excel through your browser then go to File > Version History

i've tried everything possible to enable macros on my excel file, I am not downloading a macro I want to simply write my own code its not complicated. I've tried saving my file to a trusted location. I've gone through the security setting and enabled macros. The only thing I haven't been able to do is open properties on my excel file and checking the "unblock" button but that is because that option simply does not appear on my end. Please help!

I have a problem with Excel, sometimes when I click in a cell, it selects another to the left. I have microsoft 365 apps. I've already tried to fix it whit microsoft support, reinstalling office two times, also rebooting mi laptop. Neverthless, I still have that issue. BTW, it happens in new sheets in the same doc, and of course in others documents of Excel. What should I do now?

Web Browser Version(Windows 11)
To Whom it may concern,
My date is missing. I have attempted to (restore) it using Version History and the date is still missing. I also attempted to restore older versions of it and the result was the same. I have attempted copying the data in Version History and pasting it on my spreadsheet and it is not populating. Having features available and not being able to use it is frustrating.
I look forward to a quick response regarding this matter.
Thank you,
Cesar

Subject: Excel Online Unable to Open Files Over 1MB
Hi Team,
I am experiencing an issue with Excel Online where it fails to open files larger than 1MB. Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
- I attempted to access the files from other computers and using different accounts.
- I downloaded the files to my computer and re-uploaded them to OneDrive, but the issue persists.
- The files work fine when opened using Microsoft 365 desktop apps or through OneDrive on the desktop.
However, Excel Online, which was working perfectly until yesterday evening, is now unable to load heavier files. It keeps loading for a long time but ultimately does not open the file.
This is critical because my team and I collaborate on these workbooks in real-time, and when working in desktop apps, simultaneous editing is not possible.
Could you please assist in identifying and resolving this issue?
Thank you for your support!
