Using Array Formula with other functions
Hi All
I have a spreadsheet which takes a students details and subject scores. I then have a column which returns the name of the students highest subject. (See image)
The formula works for the first row. I would however like the formula to also return a value as other rows are added for new students (without having to copy down the formula each time).
I came across the Array formula function but cant seem to find a way to a solution.
Am I missing something or is there an easier way to create this?

The simplest approach is to highlight your block of data (A1 to F3) and turn it into a Table using Ctrl+T
Then double click in F2 and press enter. Your formula should then copy down and will continue to copy down as you add new students
