unlock specific areas of a protected worksheet

Went through this and I wanted certain areas password protected. I just set up passwords for specific areas... now when I protect the sheet and share the file these cells do not require a password to edit; I can't figure this out. The sheet does have the lock symbol on it...

Please advise...
