Undo List Removed. Cntrl + z also not working.

I have Office 365 Business and when I'm in Excel, I have no ability to undo. The undo icon is showing and it appears to be activated when I begin typing something in but as soon as I 'enter' out of the cell, the undo option greys out and won't work. Neither will "Cntrl+z". Is there something going on that is causing my undo list to be instantly cleared? And is there a way to change this. Thank you.

SergeiBaklan it was on any file. I think it may be caused by opening certain files with macros. Once I closed out of all the Excel files and re-opened the undo function was working again. I'll likely just have to close out of all files and re-open should this happen again.

Yes, if it works on new clean file and/or in safe mode when that's most probably macros. It's hard to say which one triggers UnDo.
