Unable to delete old defind names in name manager
Hi guys!
Does some know if there is a way to delete old defind names while the options is greyed out?
I used defined names for several calculations during my studies. Now I changed my laptop and copied an Excel-sheet from the previous semester to my desktop. I have now every defined name twice. One with reference to the correct cell in the current workbook and the old one refering to the old path where the file was stored. If I'm trying to delete it, the option is not available.
Many thanks for any ideas and have a great day!

Faced with that a few times in the past, my recollection is that I ultimately had to resort to copying and using Paste Special to create a duplicate of the layouts of the spreadsheet(s) in question, along with any data constants, but without the named references; then delete the sheets that contained the named ranges and start over.
