UDFs and Excel
I am being told you cannot use a UDF within a formula, does not sound correct to me but is it?
User-defined functions do work in formulas in the desktop version of Excel for Windows and Mac. There are some limitations: a formula is intended to return a value in its cell, so you cannot directly alter the value of other cells using a UDF.
