table references for drop down

I am not seeing anywhere to define a named item as shown in the pic.
- I did not get an error. it seemed to work, but if I chose a name from the drop down in my spreadsheet, then went to the source table and modified that name, it did not change the name in the drop down list selection to the modified name. I thought that was the whole point of using table references instead of cell references.

- When you look up help for drop down list, it tells you to use tablesfor your data and table references in your drop downs sourcing for data integrity so IDK why this isn't working
