starting the formula with @
I am an old Mac Excel user and have always started my formulas with @ instead of the = sign. example @sum(... etc. Obviously, in the cell block, the @ sign is automatically converted to the = sign...

I appreciate your reply. However, I tried to figure out the steps on my Mac but no success. Even asked Chat to help me find the path to "Lotus compatibility" (as explained in the link you provided) but no luck
