=SOM wont work
When I try =SOM(A1:A10) I get this error #NAME? Can someone help me?
Also check that the cell contains numbers and not text. Check all cells, look for extra spaces.
Check the dataype is set to "Numbers" or "General" in the cells, not "Text".

AnnaKarin But SUM will not result in a #NAME? error if the range contains text. It just returns zero or whatever the sum of the real numbers in the range would be, that is, as long as the range itself doesn't contain cells with errors.
