Slicer Button Sorting Problems!

why won't my slicer buttons sort by my custom list excel version 2301

I am trying to sort the slicer buttons in the order in the below picture. I have made my desired sort into a custom list; however, the slicer buttons do not change. I saw that some people have the option in slicer settings to allow sorting by custom lists. I don't have that option, though, shown in the third image.

Can someone help me sort the buttons, please?
