Separate data on different columns
I currently have a data base with raw data that contains SS numbers, names and appointment dates. How ever, its transferred from another program which populates all data in the same column. I've been...
Select the data in column A.
On the Data tab of the ribbon, click Text to Columns.
Select Delimited, then click Next >.
Tick the check box for Space.
Also tick the check box for Other, and enter @ in the box next to it.
Click Next >.
One by one. select the columns you don't need, and select 'Do not import column (skip)'.
Specify the cell next to the first raw data cell as destination ($B$2 in the screenshot).
Finally, click Finish.
