What you might try
Clear all cell contents manually (not just delete key)
Rebuild workbook fresh
Disable AutoSave temporarily
Restart Excel after errors
What might not work
Just deleting broken code
Re-saving broken file repeatedly
Reinstalling Excel (usually doesn’t help)
Copying old code from corrupted files
