Rotating shifts with specific workload
Good evening community!
I am rather new to Excel and have been working on a rotating 8 hour shift schedule with specific data such as hourly work load ( for example 10 tasks per hour that need on average 1 agent to complete them) taking into account that they work 5 days a week, plus there is a 5% of them on vacation weekly.
I have been trying various types of COUNTIFS but I am afraid that I am not that literate yet. Do you have any suggestions? I have prepared a mockup, which I can also send if that will help.
Thank you in advance,
Anna

I think it would be best to attach the mockup worksheet to this question so the community can have a look and advise further.

Hello Damien_Rosario
Thank you for the reply. Yes of course I will gladly show you my mockup.
On the first sheet you can see a forecast of the workload (hourly) for a 3 week period as well as some data. So we have to do with 23 available agents who will be working 5 days, will have 2 days off and a 5% of them will be on vacation (every week).
On the second sheet you can see shift codes (second table) which will have to be applied on the first table so that the work load can be covered.
In case you need further clarification, let me know.
Thank you

Thanks for the file.
I'm not quite sure I am picking on how you want this so I might defer to some of the other experienced forum users for a comment who can hopefully provide better guidance than I.
SergeiBaklan, do you have any thoughts around this? Anyone else?
Cheers
Damien
