Rearrenge column with 2 different types of data
I have a column that contains names and addresses.
John Doe
123 Main St
Miami, FL 12345
John Smith
456 Main St
Miami, FL 67890
Paul Jhonson
789 MLK JR Blvd
Tampa, FL 11121
I need names in 1 column and the addresses in a different column, like this.
John Doe 123 Main St Miami, FL 12345
John Smith 456 Main St Miami, FL 67890
Paul Jhonson 789 MLK JR Blvd Tampa, FL 11121
The column has more than 3000 rows and doing it manually will take me forever. Is there a faster and simpler way to complete this?
I'm using Office 365. Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks for your time and help.
jai_v327 As a variant, consider WRAPROWS like this:
It also gives you three columns rather than two, but I believe that's even better. If you must have only two columns you can always join the second and third again.

Hi,
Is your data always arranged like this:
row 1: name,
row2: street name,
row3: state
row 4: name2,
row 5: street name2,
row 6: state2
If so, I think you can use FILTER function to filter out every 3rd row.
I attached an example spreadsheet.
