Re-ordering values in columns
Hi can anyone help? I've an imported spreadsheet showing a descending list of dates in Column A and price in Column B. Is there a way to completely flip the contents of both columns so the date and accompanying price is ascending - i.e. oldest date in cell 1 and newest date in cell 251. Thank you
Select cell A1.
On the Data tab of the ribbon, click the first button in the Sort & Filter group.
HansVogelaar thank you. Your suggestion does not unfortunately work because I want to change the cell order from A to Z (not the values in the cells..) !
- If I understand correctly, you'd need to sort Column A first and make a point to exclude the rest of the data even when prompted to select more. Repeat the same for Column B.
