Question on calculating totals from a range of differing exercises
I have an exercise log with a drop down menu for Running, Hiking and Cycling. I would like to be able to add up the total distances for the different exercises. thank you!
A quick way would be to highlight your data and create a Pivot Table (Insert > Pivot Table). Then drag your distances column into the values box and your categories into the rows box
