Protection of worksheet in 2016 version

I have a worksheet which I want to protect against undesired changes. Therefore I blocked the cells I do not want to be changed and unblocked the ones that can be saved and protected the sheet without password.

But there are control elements in the sheet like a tic box. But this doesn't work with the protection even if i use in the protection the option "objects change yes". What can i do to keep protection but still check or uncheck a tic box?
