Product function returning 0
Product function keeps returning 0. I've checked that column is formatted numbers and not text. The formula I want is =Product(J5:J6378). It will calculate if I make it say J5:J1000. Is it saying 0 b...
All numbers are less than 1, so with each multiplication, the product becomes smaller.
The product of the first 1049 cells is 3.14250325815931E-308.
The product of the first 1050 cells is smaller than 2.2251E-308, the smallest positive number that Excel can handle, so Excel rounds the result to 0.
For more than 1050 cells, the result remains 0.
