Power Pivot automatic grouping of dates in Microsoft office professional plus 2019

Does the future of automatic grouping of dates in power pivot still exist?

When I try to create a pivot table from a data model, which includes a date column, it does not create date groups (e.g. month, year etc.) automatically anymore.

      It is not checked ...
      The grouping works in normal pivot but it does not work in power pivot. Until the Excel 2016 update it did not work, so I assume that Microsoft disabled it once again in Microsoft 2019.
      Any further replies are highly appreciated!
