Posting a picture in Word Excel on a protected sheet
Please understand that in this world there are many different versions of Excel and Word for different operating systems.

In your case (as far as I understand) you cannot insert an image from Word into Excel because the Excel worksheet is locked.
When the worksheet is locked, you cannot insert an image or anything else into the worksheet.

- My Son in Law is a whiz in computers and once again, he's shown me how to do it. Yes I can set it up to lock the page and install pictures on the page. Problem solved. When I'm on the process of protecting the sheet, I just need to unselect locked cells and then select "Edit Objects" and it works.
