Possible bug when opening the VB editor while using multiple screens (Mac)

Thank you! Your steps are spot on and can confirm the above behaviour as I just experienced what you described. I tried using hot keys via BetterSnapTools to move window to active screen but it kept jumping back to whatever location it was at offscreen 😐 . I submitted feedback via the help menu.

Edit: Using Excel Version 16.89 (24090815). On MacOS 15.  Device with displayLink software install in case that has something to do with it 1.10 build 117.

I have found a weird issue with Excel / VBA during an assignment I was working on.
I asked Office support about it and the agent in live chat directed me to ask here.
 
To try and explain it I have prepared a short step-by-step of the issue and outcome I encountered
I understand that it is relatively easy to circumvent by paying attention to what you open on which screen (once you know about it), but sadly I lost over an hour of work due to this
 
 
Problem 1:
1. Open Excel (opens on the screen you are currently active in)
2. Open a workpiece (the spreadsheet window will open on the primary screen)
3. Move the work window to the secondary screen
4. Open the VB editor from excel
- it will open on the primary screen, but off the screen and it can't be moved to any of the screens or virtual desktops, even though it's visible in mission control.
If you restart excel and open the VB editor before step 3 it works fine. Apart from the VB editor, Excel is still usable
 
An extension of the previous problem:
1. Open Excel (opens on the screen you are currently active in)

I tried using hot keys via BetterSnapTools to move window to active screen but it kept jumping back to whatever location it was at offscreen 😐 . I submitted feedback via the help menu.
