Pivot table update issue

Hi all, 

My manager is sending our clients  a pivot table which takes has the data source in a tab of the same file as the pivot table. However When they try to update it they get a message telling them that it's unable to update because the source is on my manager's  desktop. She changed the data source a number of times to the data situated in the same file but it still doesn't work. Can anyone help?
