Old Spreadsheet Needs Some Attention
I am trying to figure our how to sort an old spreadsheet. Over 2500 rows and 8 columns in the following order:
file - year- name- address- additional info...
The issue is the files are all over the place and not in ascending order. I think it's because the file number and year are in different columns? Any suggestions on how I can format this? The file numbers are duplicated each year but the year row changes accordingly. I appreciated any help/ideas. Thank you!

beckyMT On the Home ribbon, look for the Sort & Filter button. Click and then Custom Sort. Here you can set multiple sort levels. E.g. first by year then by file number.
