Not allow a character to be imputed in a cell

How do I create a formula for a cell to not allow the character -> period ( . )?

 

  • NJ1000 

     

    Use a Data Validation rule as shown below. This prevents a number with a decimal or a word or two with a period in it. Is that what you want?
