Need help combining columns to export email group to outlook

I have 3 columns I'd like to combine so I can export them and create a contact group in Outlook.

="Brown, James Andrew"="R2.D2"'@school.org

I'd like to combine columns B and C to create an email address mailto:R2.D2@pcsb.org

To export to Outlook, I believe I need to clean column A to get rid of the comma, quotes, etc..  The period must stay in column B.  I believe I need to export as Name, email for Outlook to recognize it.

If anyone can help, I'd greatly appreciate it.  Otherwise I'll have to enter 180 students' emails by hand.

Here are Excel people, if you remind the format which Outlook recognizes while importing, that will be easier.

  • Assuming you have John in cell B2 and Smith in cell C2, and you want to add suffix @pcsb.org.. Follow the steps below

    =LOWER(CONCATRNATE(B2,".",C2,"@pcsb.org"))

    Or you can use =LOWER(B2&"."&C2&"@pcsb.org")

    Both method will deliver john.smith@pcsb.org

Thank you for your reply. The cells are as above. A1 is Brown, James Arthur  B1 is R2.D2   C1 is @pcsb.org

Columns A & B are as imported from our grading software.  I'm trying to add the pcsb.org to complete the email address as mailto:R2.D2@pcsb.org  I'm thinking the comma between the names and the period in between R2 and D2 of the email address could be a problem?

I have not attempted this before but I believe Outlook needs just name, address separated by a comma.

        =LOWER(B1&C1)

        That will deliver r2 d2@pcsb.off

        Or

        =B1&C1

        It will deliver R2.D2@pcsb.org

        Is that what you want
