Need Assistance: Calculate a Due Date based on Event Date + a Number of Calendar Days = a Work day

I am looking for assistance in building an equation to populate a due date in column D. The due date would need to be cell C1 + the number of CALENDAR days in column C however it has to equal a week day. We cannot use a simple equation like C1+C3= as that will include weekends. We have not been able to use =WORKDAY as that only counts workdays and we need it to count calendar days however, the due date in D must fall on a weekend. I’m thinking =workday is the one to use however it would need to be a more complex version which I am unsure how to write. We have also tried =NETWORK days but that seems to be more for counting how many days are in between two different days.  Any assistance is so beyond appreciated.
