Need a dropdown on a summary sheet to filter lists on two separate sheets.
Needing the ability to have a summary sheet, with dropdowns which filter the lists on the two separate sheets that pertain to those in the dropdowns.

it's hard to answer such a vague question. Please post a sample file with some data, mock up the desired result manually and explain the logic that leads to that result.
