Name Manager does not work
Hello Microsoft community,
I am trying to open the Name Manager and it does not open.
I tried the same in SafeMode, but still no success.
Do you have any suggestions?
- In my experience, when the name manager does not open it usually means the workbook contains an exorbitant amount of named items (tens of thousands).
Can you access the name manager in a blank workbook?

Can you access the name manager in a blank workbook? - Rahul-kumarBrass ContributorHi mrodlauer heck for add-in conflicts: Sometimes, add-ins can interfere with the Name Manager. Try disabling all add-ins and see if that fixes the problem. You can disable add-ins by going to File > Options > Add-ins and unchecking the boxes next to the add-ins that you want to disable.
Repair Excel: If the problem is with Excel itself, you can try repairing it. To do this, go to Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features and select Microsoft Excel. Click Change and then select Repair.
Reinstall Excel: If repairing Excel doesn't work, you can try reinstalling it. To do this, uninstall Excel from your computer and then reinstall it from the Microsoft website.- SergeiBaklanDiamond Contributor
For my interest - which add-ins conflict with name manager? IMHO, Name Manger is built-in functionality, not add-in. Low chances it could conflict wit something external.

Good question- I tried disabling all Add-ins: NO effect.
With other files the name Manager works just fine. If the problem ist the file. How do I solve the corruption in the file?
