#NAME? error in add-ins

The #NAME? error continues to be a problem when using excel add-ins. It occurs randomly and the troubleshooting steps provided by Microsoft do not always work. Does anyone know of a way to mitigate this issue, or how we can escalate further to Microsoft to address?
