Merging two sheets to find unique data

Hi!

I have 2 excel sheets with data. The first excel sheet contains emails and usernames. The second sheet only contains usernames. The sequence of the usernames are different in both sheets. I want to put these sheets into one sheet and remove all username duplicates, without messing up the sequence in the first sheet. How do I do this?

It may be worth mentioning that the each usernames in the first sheet cannot be resequenced as they belong to the email on the same row.

Does anyone have a solution for this? 🙂

Paste the names from the second sheet below the names on the first sheet.

    Click anywhere in the data.

On the Data tab of the ribbon, click Remove Duplicates.

    Select only the name column.

Click OK. Excel will keep the names and email addresses from the first sheet in the same order.
