Look up values from a drop down

I would like to have a drop down list of classes

 

and it look up that class from another sheet and return the student enrolled.

    in order to provide a useful answer it would help to have more information:

    - what is your Excel version

    - How is the lookup-table structured (in which order are the columns)

    - do you expect only one return value or could it be more than one

     

    You could drop a screenshot or even an example file

      I am working with the latest excel

      I can not screenshot the main sheet due to confidential information.

       

      The sheet name is Request Course

      the Order is

      Completion time

      Name

      Student ID

      Student Name

      Parent Name

      Parent Email

      Phone Number

      Student School

      Requested Provider

      Request Course

      Waiver

      Grade Range

       

      On another sheet (Roster)

      I want a drop-down of our courses

      and return a list of students enrolled in that course along with if the waiver has been signed.

       

      So if the course NYO is selected, then all the students are listed below it.
