Linking data based on criteria
Hi Hope someone can help.....I have 2 sheets. I want to link the data from Sheet1 to Sheet2. But..... I only want to link it if it meets criteria in Sheet1!B2 (Status column). I only want lines ...
There is no need for a second sheet. Filter the table itself.
Otherwise use FILTER() or a pivot table.
- Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, there is a need for the different sheets as there are several functions in the organisation that requires only certain data. There is a central register of data with about 15 columns. One person only needs 6 of those columns (with some other columns only for their purpose) and someone else needs 7 different columns with additional details for their purpose. I was hoping that any data that is updated in any sheets would be recorded across all where that data exists.
