Linking cells in one worksheet to another that can be sorted
I have a workbook that contains a master sheet of residents in a condo association with personal data, one utility worksheet for lists, and 46 individual account worksheets (one for each resident). I link the personal data from the master sheet to cells on the individual sheets so it can be repeated in the individual sheets. If I sort the data on the master sheet to alphabetize it the links in the individual sheets stay with the original cell locations rather than follow the new cell location in the master sheet. How do I get them to follow the new positions?
- Thanks. I did.

James_Stallcup you should use the XLOOKUP (since you tagged Office365) for that. See example in the attached workbook.

Thank you so much for sharing this example file! I've muddled through my own spreadsheet using your example and figured out how to link data that can be sorted afterwards. This is the first time I've actually understood how to do this with XLOOKUP.
