Is there a way to link multiple cells to one cell but only to copy if it’s a particular colour?

In the A Column there will be different time/colour each row going down

I hope that 1 of the 7 colours going across only copies when it’s the same colour

Is this at all possible?

If not, can I have the 7 colours being not blank going down but coloured in already and they copy the time in A column if it’s same colour?

1. How to link cells by colour?
2. is it possible to link cells data/colour only if it’s a particular colour whilst leaving other cells blank that are linked too?

Any help is super appreciated, been stuck on this a few days now

Excel cannot really calculate using the color of a cell. instead, you should be using the information that was entered or calculated in the cell.

      I’ve done an alternative now

But to finish it do you know if I need to use vba or not to get the sum of each individual colour times?

I’m trying to build a tally of each 7 colours so I need it to recognise the colour of the cells

      Thanks
