Inventory bar codes

I am copying bar codes for inventory items into an excel spreadsheet as a picture

I have been able to format the picture in properties to move and size with the cell

However i would like to be able to link to the contents of that cell from another spreadsheet

so that the bar code appears in the other spreadsheet by a link to the original spreadsheet

However as the cell content is a picture this does not seem possible

Does anyone have any ideas?

    Dvaid As we are dealing with an image of the barcode it has to be done manually.  We generally do not have much options left using images.

     

    Right click on the image and click link option where you will be able to link it to the original file.
