=HYPERLINK("file:"&A1,"Click to open file")

Thank you .... your solution works perfectly and I can continue with my work
Any Suggestions to whom I should address my questions as to why
1) Microsoft Excel Hyperlink address .... copy and paste has stopped working ?
2) Why Microsoft is randomly re-writing my Link paths (Design-Top--Index%20of%20files.xlsx) preventing them from working !!..?

- JKPieterseJul 14, 2021Silver ContributorIf there is anything you do not like in how Excel works, click File, Feedback (from Excel).
If there is a dialog about which you want to give feedback about, first take a screen-shot of that dialog and paste that onto your worksheet. Then click Feedback so you can include a screenshot with the dialog.
