index/match error when using it more than once on a spreadsheet

Can you please test if E12 and R21 are identical. Please enter in a cell:
=MATCH(E12,R21,0)If the result is N/A, then the entries are not identical. Possibly text once?!

dscheikey They are not the same. But they are both numbers, not text.
