Not sure if it is wrong to post it here per se, but the Excel development team uses the uservoice site to track suggestions and where to focus their efforts, based on the interest in a problem, so it's the best place to post your improvement suggestions!
If you make a suggestion there, you could always update your post here so users could go and vote on your suggestion.
