Stockhistory function appears to no longer be updating past Feb 10 2023
From what I can see, the Stockhistory function has stopped pulling data. Last date of data is Feb 10 2023. It does not give data past that date. It is not giving an error. It will pull older data b...

Does the number of upvotes help get the issue looked at?
I know this has had a large number of views and comments.
Looks like you know how this system is managed. Is there one of those that gives a bigger flag to folks watching?
I made the initial post and then had problems logging back in, so made another account. So I can't modify the main post. I can mess with the one right under it. I have been updating that one as system goes up and down.
To me, this looks like the only place we can find info on status when we let each other know what our one data point looks like. MSFT has no way for us to see status on Stockhistory so we don't know if it's us or them. Until it's all of us, and then it's them. 😉

One more option is to find blog here where STOCKHISTORY() was announced and put the comment on it directly mentioning the author of the blog. If (s)he still works on Microsoft some chance it'll be answered.
There are no rules as "some number of votes - answered, another number of votes - fixed".
All depends on Microsoft internal plans, their relationships with providers (Relativ in this case) and personality of the manager who is responsible for the product.
- Yen_LimauMar 17, 2023Copper ContributorThe Excel 365 "LIVE STOCK" command was my backup for the somewhat unpredictable Stockhistory... but it is also broken now! Not clear what prices that the Live Stock is showing now. With markets closed, they are neither showing Close Price nor After-market Price. Darn.
- DismalDave2ndtimeMar 17, 2023Copper ContributorYesterday, Thursday, took a few hours past normal for Stockhistory to load data.
Today, Friday 17th, it is loading for me at 8:30 PM Pacific. I didn't try it before that.
I haven't tried Live Stock.- Yen_LimauMar 17, 2023Copper ContributorLive Stock is only on Excel 365 now. There's actually a ~15-minute delay, so not truly "live". It's easy to use, doesn't need any coding, and can pull out all sorts of info, e.g. Beta, P/E, shares outstanding, price etc. It's also very stable, except past couple of days.
But we can't use to to get prices at a specific date (which Stockhistory does)... which is a shame because if we want to lock in a close price for the month, e.g. for your month-end column, we're out of luck. Stockhistory is great for this... if only it is more stable!
