I am not sure how to make this formula. on this spread sheet!

I have been working on this for some time!

I have attached a sample of the spread sheet,

what I am wanting is to try to do is use the information i put in on the input form sheet and have it automatically  move the the appropriate sheets.

For example I add data on the input form under facility (house I spent 190.00 on food on 1/22/2020

I want that information to got to the appropriate locations on the home sheet or shop sheet or auto!

Thanks for any and all help!

I updated your the House worksheet and also added a column on the input worksheet for a vlookup tool. Just follow the format I have in the House worksheet and use the same principle I did with the other worksheet. Hopefully this solves your problem. Any other questions, please let me know

    Do it with Pivot.

    FACILITY in the filters area.

DATE in the columns area -> group it by year and month.

    CATEGORY in the rows areas.

    AMOUNT in the values area.

Change the FACILITY filter as needed.

I have tried the pivot and am not sure I am doing it right,  the input form sheet is constantly growing as we add more, my goal is to use the input sheet as a form that sends the information or data to the other sheets home, shop, auto. that will also constantly grow?

teb372020 Have a look at the attached file, where I implemented Detlef_Lewin 's recommendation. It demonstrates the power of Pivot Tables in cases such as yours. No need for separate facility sheets. The input form is dynamic. Just start typing a new entry at the bottom and it will automatically extend. The example pivot tables (PT1, PT2 and PT3) are all based on that Table and when it extends, the data source for the PT's changes with it. All that is left is refresh all pt's after you have added new entries on the input form.
