How to transfer data

Hello, I am currently working on a data spread sheet, in which I need to input values from another workbook onto my current workbook, however i am unable to copy and paste as some of the information in one cell isn't relevant to it. I have tried the V LOOKUP formula and countless others all resulting in the same failure, I can't filter by name as it would take longer than to just input the value singularly.

    If you're able to upload a sample workbook or share a link to a OneDrive workbook, you'll get solutions much quicker this way.

    What you're describing is do-able but it's not clear what your data looks like.
