How to create a rule to create a value based on content of 2 cells
Edit: Thanks to the forum. Now resolved.
Hi. Assistance please. I suspect this is pretty simple but it has defeated me!
I want to write a rule that generates a value in one cell based on the content of 2 other cells.
The 2 cells will only ever be 'Yes' or 'No'. I want to create a rule that generates one answer if both cells are 'Yes', and another answer if either cell has a 'No'.
Please help! Thanks in advance.

=IF(COUNTIF(A1:B1,"Yes")=2,"Yes","No")- BRDKergudonCopper ContributorMany thanks. That has helped - think I've got it sorted.

=INDEX($G$3:$G$6,MATCH(A3&B3,$E$3:$E$6&$F$3:$F$6,0))You can try a lookup function such as INDEX and MATCH. Enter the formula with ctrl+shift+enter if you don't work with Office365 or 2021. An alternative could be VLOOKUP or - if you work with Office365 or 2021 - XLOOKUP.

Thanks for your response. It certainly looks like that would do what I'm looking to do but - apols - I don't know how to achieve it. I am really not great with Excel. Can you simplify at all? If it assists, I am on Office365. Sorry!
