How to connect SQL server to Excel in Office 365

Question

After 1.5h on the phone with Microsoft and days spent on online research, I am completely unable to connect MySQL database to my Office 365 database. I seem to have all required details, as I managed to connect it to other software, but I really struggle with this one. I would very kuch appreciate someone's guidance.

Can you please describe in more detail what it is you are trying to do? For instance, are you trying to create a linked table in MS Access linking to a table (or query) in a MySQL database?

Do you have the MySQL ODBC driver installed (and the correct version for your OS and for the version of MySQL)? There appears to be one here: https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/odbc/5.3.html
