How to change the Number of Years to Number of Months
In the attached version, I cleaned up the terminology as best I could and removed the cell where you originally could enter the number of payments per year.
Thanks but what you did doesn't work for me. It does not calculate the monthly payment.
I need the input field to accept months not years and then calculate the months as (months/12) letting the rest of the fields do their job.

With that said, I downloaded the file to my computer and opened it with Excel 2010.
After entering different numbers, this is what I see.
How do I get it to function outside of Google Sheets and from an empty file on my computer?
I guess the template works with Microsoft 365 and Office 2021 only.
- So, I copied it to my Google Sheets and it functions there.
